Previously, I collaborated with the Ku-ring-gai Chamber and Council. Together, we ran a highly successful Networking Masterclass. This event taught local leaders how to connect effectively. Last year, I organized a Meet the Candidates function. This event served the Bradfield electorate during the Australian Federal election. That session was another great success for our community. It allowed voters to engage directly with their future leaders.
About the Ku-ring-gai Energy Summit for Community and Business
On Wednesday, April 8, we are hosting the Energy Summit for Community and Business. This event addresses climate change and modern recycling methods. We will also explore the latest trends in renewable energy. Our Ku-ring-gai Chamber team is collaborating with EnergyZE North Shore for this summit. Together, we educate the Ku-ring-gai community on sustainability issues. We aim to provide practical solutions for a greener future.
Recently, the well-known Bush Telegraph highlighted the Energy Summit in a local feature. This recognition underscores the importance of our mission. We are honored to welcome Dr. Cathy Foley to the stage. She served with distinction as the former CSIRO Chief Scientist. Dr. Kate Wilson, an elite climate consultant, will also join us. She has enjoyed an elite career at the NSW Government.
Nicolette Boele, Member for Bradfield, will moderate our expert panel. She brings deep knowledge in both environment and finance sectors. Eight highly skilled speakers will share their expertise throughout the day. These leaders offer unique perspectives on our planet’s health. Attendees will gain practical insights into our energy future. I look forward to seeing our local networks grow even stronger. This summit represents a vital step for our local business leaders.
